Centering Prayer Group – a contemplative prayer practice, inspired by Christian mystics through the centuries. Each Wednesday at 4:15 pm, a small group gathers in the Oratory in the Annex to practice Centering Prayer together. Each gathering includes a 15-minute reading of a prayer classic, followed by a 20-minute period for experiencing Centering Prayer.
Sunday Class – an adult study group meets at 9:15 am each Sunday to read read and discuss the gospel for that Sunday.
Monday School – a book study group that meets each Monday at 10 am to read and discuss books related to spiritual growth and understanding.
Outback – a bible study group that meets on Thursday evenings in participants’ homes on Cape San Blas and Indian Pass. This ecumenical group shares dinner along with discussion of selected books.
Education for Ministry – a four-year, tuition-based program of study, worship and theological reflection, offered to parishes by The University of the South. The curriculum includes the Old Testament, the New Testament, Church History, and Theological topics. The Trinity group meets weekly September – May on Tuesday evenings, and often concludes with a dinner at a local restaurant or in a member’s home.
Natural Spirituality – participants gather weekly for sharing personal insights of nightly dreams, drawing from Christian and Jungian perspectives.
